Questions about the heatmap

What do the size and colour of a tile mean?

The size is the coin’s market cap and the colour its price change over the last 24 hours: green for a rise, red for a fall and grey around zero. A move of 8% or more either way gets the strongest colour.

Which coins are on the heatmap?

The 100 largest coins by market cap, from CoinGecko. Click a tile to open the coin on the chart when it trades on one of the six exchanges here.

How often does the heatmap update?

Prices and market caps are fetched again from CoinGecko every five minutes while the page is open.
